The following information is arranged by subject to help
you plan your trip to China.
Currency
Chinese Customs regulations place no restrictions
on the amount of foreign currency brought in, provided it
is declared on arrival. The currency
converter provides the current exchange rate between
U.S dollars and Chinese RMB. Click here

when travelling in China. You can exchange Chinese currency
both at the banks located at Beijing
Captial International airport and at the hotels you
are going to stay. ATMs provide the best exchange rates.
Participants will stay at Chongqing
Liyuan Hotel in Shapingba, Chongqing. It has fitness
and business center. In addition, this hotel provides
currency exchange services and also has a shopping department

In Beijing, you will stay at State
Guest Presidential Plaza Hotel. The hotel is located
in Beijing's western district, close to China's commercial
banking institutions, government ministries, high-tech

Transportation
Travel arrangements between the United States and Beijing,
China will be made by DB Consulting Group. While staying
in China, all the transportation related to the meeting
will be provided, including to the airport.
All the meals will be provided by the organizer of this
conference.
While in China, you can make long distance calls to the
US directly from the hotels you are staying. We will help
you purchase long distance call service at a low rate.
It is agreed that all participants in the
technical work group meeting (expert members, Ministry/ED
staff, and others) would address one another by their surnames
with the appropriate descriptor before it (e.g., Ms. de
Kanter, Dr. Ginsburg, Professor Zhao).
