GENERAL VIEW
A board has two panels.
Upper Panel -- The messages of the board are displayed.
Lower Panel -- The text of the selected message is displayed.
HOW TO LISTEN TO A MESSAGE ?
To play a message, click on the "Play Button"
or directly
double-click on the message of the upper panel.
To pause the playback of the message, click on the "Pause
Button".
To stop the playback of the message, click on the "Stop
Button".
HOW TO CREATE A NEW MESSAGE ?
Select a message or a board, click on the "Compose
Button" or on the "Reply Button".
A window will appear:
To record your voice, click on the "Record Button".
To hear your recorded message, click on the "Play Button".
To pause or to stop the recording process, click on the
"Pause Button" or on the "Stop Button".
To post your message when you have finished it, click on
the "Post Button".
To abort the composition of your message, click on the "Abort
Button".
In the "Subject Box", you can enter the subject
of your message.
In the lower box, you can type the text of your message.
HOW TO REPLY TO A MESSAGE ?
To reply to a specific message, click to select the message
and then, click
on the "Reply Button".
HOW TO DELETE A MESSAGE ?
Select the message you want to delete and click
on the "Delete Button".
You cannot delete messages posted by people other than yourself.
And you can only delete your message if no one has replied
to it.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN SOMEONE HAS RESPONDED TO A
SPECIFIC MESSAGE ?
If you want to be informed about a response to
your own message, you can
check the notification checkbox in the composition window.
HOW TO ADJUST VOLUME ?
The playback volume can be modified adjusting the green
control bar.
Push the cursor to the left of the bar to decrease the volume,
or to the
right to increase it.
The record volume is automatically modified (by default)
to optimize the
sensitivity of your microphone. But you can disable the
"Auto Gain Control"
(in the composition window) and manually adjust the sensitivity
with the red
control bar.
HOW TO EXPAND A THREAD ?
If you want to see all children messages of a board or a
message, you can
select the board or message, and click on the "Expand
Button".
HOW TO CHANGE CACHE SETTINGS ?
Choose preferences in the menu bar, you can modify
the size by clicking on
cache size or empty the cache by clicking on clear cache.
